不善辭令,比起說話更愛觀察。常自覺在創作路上不夠虔誠,時而投靠文字,時而拜託影像,有時候甚至得懇求繪畫給予我片刻安寧。經常深怕被作品修飾後的生活顯得太矯情,但不化作某種形態的思緒難以被梳理。媽媽曾說她很想當路邊的修樹工人,看見被修葺好的樹木就感到莫名舒暢。
我想,那大概是同一件事。

Not much of a talker but more of an observer, has always been conscious of not being attentive enough on her creative path, as she sometimes tends to turn to words, sometimes to images, or to drawings. Sculpting the day-to-day life by her own creations has made her worry that things would seem artificial. However, she knows well that her thoughts would not settle without being expressed in a certain form.
Her mum once said she would very much like to be a tree carer who repairs trees along the roads, when trees are repaired they give her an unspeakable sense of comfort.
She guesses, they both are the same thing.
